Tasks overview
Tasks organize work inside a project — assign people, set dates and priorities, add checklists, discuss in comments, and track time.
A task is a unit of work inside a project. Tasks have assignees, dates, a priority, checklists, comments, and attachments — and you can start a timer straight from one.
- Role
- OwnerAdminManagerMember
Anyone can view tasks and comments. Editing a task's fields is open to the manage tier or the assigned Member. Archiving and deleting a task is manage-tier only — a Member can edit a task they're assigned but can never archive or delete it.
Where to find tasks
- The global Tasks page (
/tasks) shows tasks across every project, in Board or List view. - A project's Tasks tab (
/projects/[id]/tasks) shows that project's tasks.
Click any task to open a quick-edit drawer. The full read-first detail view lives at
/projects/[id]/tasks/[taskId].
