Projects overview
Projects are where work happens — they hold tasks and time, set how the work bills, and track budgets and profitability.
A project belongs to a client and is where the actual work lives. It holds the project's tasks and time entries, sets how the work bills, and can track a budget and profitability.

How projects fit together
A project inherits its client's default hourly rate when you leave the project rate blank. Time tracked on the project rolls up into the client's ready to invoice amount and into your reports.
