Clients overview
Clients are the businesses you bill. Store their details, set billing defaults, track their work, and turn it into invoices.
A client is a business or person you bill. Each client holds their contact details, a billing address, and a set of billing defaults (currency, rate, payment terms, tax) that flow down to the projects and invoices you create for them.
- Role
- OwnerAdminManager
Clients are a manage-tier feature. Owners, Admins, and Managers can view and edit clients. Members have no access to clients at all — they only see the projects they're added to.
Where to find clients
Open Clients in the sidebar. The list at /clients shows every client in your workspace. Click
any client to open its detail page, where you'll see their tracked time, invoices, and how much is
ready to invoice.
What you can do

How clients fit together
Billing defaults you set on a client are inherited by every project under it, and by the invoices you raise. Set them once and the rest of your workflow picks them up automatically.
