Archive a project
Archive a finished project to tidy your list — it's a reversible soft-delete you can restore at any time.
When a project wraps up, archive it to keep your active list focused. Archiving is reversible — nothing is lost and you can restore the project later.
- Role
- OwnerAdminManager
Archiving projects is a manage-tier action. Members can't archive projects.
Where to find it
Open a project from Projects, or open its Edit page, and use the archive action.
Project status
A project's status is one of:
- Active — in progress.
- Completed — finished, still visible.
- Archived — hidden from your active list via a reversible soft-delete.
Archive a project
Open the project
From Projects, open the project you want to archive.
Archive it
Set its status to Archived (or use the archive action). It moves out of your active list.
Restore when needed
Archiving is reversible — restore the project at any time to bring it back, fully intact.
What happens next
The project and its tasks and time entries are preserved. Restore it whenever you need it again.
Need to keep working but bill under a different client? You don't have to archive — edit the project and change its client to move it within the same workspace.
