Move a task between projects
Re-point a task to a different project by editing it — its assignees move with it.
Filed a task under the wrong project, or work shifted scope? You can move a task to another project by editing it.

Moving a task changes its project, a manage-tier action.
Where to find it
Open the task's edit form (/projects/[id]/tasks/[taskId]/edit) and change its project.

Open the task's edit form
From the task, open Edit.
Change the project
Set a different project. This re-points the task and its assignees to that project.
Save
Save the task. It now lives under the new project.
What happens next
The task and its assignees move to the new project. The task keeps its details — status, priority, dates, checklist, comments, and attachments.
