Telegram notifications
Connect your Telegram account to get pings for mentions, task assignments, comments, and client payments — per user, across every workspace.
Hoursmith can send you notifications in Telegram — handy for catching mentions and payments
without watching your inbox. The connect control lives on Account → Notifications
(/account/notifications).

Telegram notifications are available on Studio and Agency. This is a per-user account setting — anyone on a qualifying plan can connect their own account.
Telegram is per user and follows you across workspaces. Connect once and you'll get pings from every workspace you belong to. It only works if the Hoursmith operator has configured a Telegram bot.
Connect Telegram
Open Account → Notifications
Go to Account → Notifications and find Connect Telegram.
Open the link
Click Connect Telegram. Hoursmith issues a single-use link that opens a Telegram chat.
Press Start
In Telegram, press Start. Your account links and the page shows Connected as @handle.
Once connected, you'll see two buttons: Send test (fire a test ping) and Disconnect.
What Telegram can send you
- @mentions
- Task assigned to you
- Comments on a task you follow
- A client paid an invoice
Which of these actually reach you is controlled by your notification preferences.
Troubleshooting
- There's no Connect Telegram button. Telegram requires Studio or Agency, and the Hoursmith operator must have a Telegram bot configured.
- I'm not getting pings. Press Send test to confirm the link works, then check your notification preferences — Telegram only sends events you've opted into.
- I want to stop. Click Disconnect on the Notifications page.
