Undo an import
Roll back an import within 24 hours — it removes the rows the import created but safely keeps anything you've since built on.
Imported something you didn't mean to? Within 24 hours of a successful import, the Owner can undo it from the import job page.

- Owner
Undo is Owner-only and available within 24 hours of a successful import.
What undo does
-
It hard-deletes the rows that import created, in a safe order.
-
It skips any rows you've since added child data to. For example, if you logged time against an imported project, that project is kept. You'll see a summary like:
Removed X. Kept Y that had data you added after import.
Undo is one-shot and not reversible. Once you undo, that's final — there's no "redo." If you only want part of the import gone, it may be cleaner to delete those records by hand.
Undo an import
Open the import job
Go to Settings → Imports and open the job you want to roll back.
Use the Undo card
On the job page, use the Undo card (shown only within 24 hours).
Review the summary
Hoursmith reports how many rows it removed and how many it kept because you'd added data after the import.
Troubleshooting
- There's no Undo option. Undo is only available within 24 hours of a successful import, and only to the Owner.
- Some rows weren't removed. That's by design — anything you've added child data to is kept. Remove those records manually if you really want them gone.
